Introduction

MAR Roofing and Building Services has been providing roofing and general building services to domestic and commercial clients throughout Surrey and South West London for many years.

We are an integral part of the local community and were once again proud sponsors of Ashtead Village Day, as you can see from the banner above! A fantastic day was had by all in a beautifully sunny gap in an otherwise dismal week.

Most of our work comes from word of mouth recommendation and since joining Check-a-Trade , the trade vetting organisation, our volume of work has increased so much we have formed separate Roofing and Building divisions.

About Us

Mark Anthony Rabbetts (MAR) has been in the construction industry for over 30 years and formed MAR Roofing and Building Services in May 2002, based in Ashtead, between Epsom and Leatherhead.

Because clients can often not see the work which needs to be done, Mark has pioneered the use of digital photography, providing extensive photographic evidence of required work with all quotations. We find that our clients are reassured by seeing the cause of their problem and by knowing that they are not paying for unnecessary work.

How We Work

The vast majority of our jobs are quoted on a fixed price basis subject to fluctuation in material costs.

Once we start a job we will strive to stay on that project until completion.

We don't take a deposit or advance on any job under £5000 and on completion, photographic evidence is provided that the job has been done as quoted. All clients are provided with a detailed invoice with 14 day payment terms.

We have an ethos of customer support and endeavour to keep our clients fully informed of progress and to resolve any issues or concerns as swiftly as possible.
